Papaw's Dog House is working hand in hand with Patitas Mocanas a non-profit organization whose purpose is to help the population of stray and vulnerable dogs and cats in the city of Moca, Dominican Republic.

 

Since May 2019 Patitas Mocanas has been operating as a charitable foundation, with their own resources and through contributions from interested people concerned about the well-being and protection of those who have no voice or home.

It is our intention to educate the people from Moca (My native town and where I grew up) about Law No. 248-12 Animal Protection and Responsible Tenure and use this important legislation to defend the rights of animals, and fight against their abuse, neglect, and mistreatment.
